The console appears to be a development version (I think) because it lacks markings on the front face. A retail Pippin has an Atmark logo on the left side, a Pippin logo on the CD-ROM drive drawer, and a PowerPC logo on the right side. The console being sold here is blank. Additionally, it’s evident from the photos that it has a SCSI ribbon cable for connecting external devices. I assume it must contain a development ROM.
