From time to time, Apple uses prototypes for FCC validation. And this Apple Watch Series 2 ticks quite a few boxes. It indeed has a strange logo on the back and a serial number in Lorem Ipsum, which is rather unusual.
On released watches, the serial number is no longer found under the dial, and the order is different. This is also evident with ceramic versions: the order is not the same as on a commercially available watch, and the final versions do not indicate « 1250 Ceramic. »
