On a luxury items selling website, there’s a rather unique product: a development PowerBook G4 with a transparent casing. It’s not the first one I’ve seen, but it remains a rather special machine.
It’s a 2003 PowerBook G4, judging by the width of the screen, it’s 15 inches. The connectors seem identical to the final version, and unfortunately, the block with the specifications is illegible.
The estimation of €200,000 seems a bit exaggerated; the only Apple products that reach this range are Apple I or much older prototypes. However, the sale also offers some other Apple devices (Cube, eMate, etc.) with overestimated valuations as well, even considering they seem to be in perfect condition. For example, they hope to sell three out of the four Apple digital cameras for €1,000.
