Seen on Twitter, a few prototypes of the iPhone 4 and 4S, including white models.
On the white iPhone 4 models, you can clearly see small differences in the volume buttons and the proximity sensor, which has a simple grill on the prototypes, later adapted for production models. The funny thing is that some press photos actually show the prototype grill. I also corrected the white balance on the photos.

The iPhone 4S models are DVT, so they are close to or identical to the commercial versions.
