A prototype iPad with two connectors

Seen on Twitter, a first-generation iPad with two 30-pin connectors (docks).

This isn’t new: it’s been talked about for years now. However, this time it’s mentioned that the second port works, at least for charging.

As a side note, I had purchased the necessary part (part number 820-2535-01) in 2016, but I never received it, and the seller went bankrupt and no longer exists. But if you check the iFixit teardown at step 9, you can see that the connector for the second dock is there. Comparing it with the image from this post, you can tell the space is available.
