Seen on Twitter, two rather peculiar prototypes: models with visible antennas. This is something you can occasionally see on iPads, iPhones, and (here) iPod touch and MacBook Pro.
The exposed and accessible ports probably allow testing of the antennas and the devices’ reception and transmission capabilities, which is not a luxury, as we saw many years ago with the iPhone 4. Apparently, according to the author, these models are used mainly for FCC testing.
