Seen on eBay, a prototype that’s not a Mac, nor even an Apple product, but still fits the editorial line: a NeXT Cube motherboard.
I’m not an expert on the black machines, but the photos show that the CPU is a test sample and not a commercial version. The French version of the listing is quite amusing with “Cube Suivant” (« Next Cube »). The seller was asking $600, but there’s no indication if it was sold.
