During an auction at Bonhams a few months ago, an eMate prototype sold for a surprisingly high price.
The eMate 300, a sort of Newton in a laptop format, is quite rare. However, this prototype sold for $6,375, which seems (really) expensive. It appears to be a model from Henry Plain, who often tries to sell prototypes at (very) high prices. Nevertheless, it remains a green eMate, similar to the commercial versions. On eBay, we have seen transparent or orange versions for significantly lower prices.
