Seen on a forum, a prototype of a machine I own, a Macintosh LC III (or Performa 450, like here).
The machine is physically quite close to the final version, but with a « Demo Unit » label placed on the top. Internally, there are some differences, such as missing chips (with traces) and wires connecting chips, with manual soldering.
