Seen on eBay, a special Apple Watch: it’s the demo model used to showcase the Apple Watch Edition.
It’s not a solid gold watch like the real Apple Watch Edition, but it still looks quite similar (it’s gold-plated). It also doesn’t use a sapphire crystal but rather the less durable glass found on the aluminum versions, for a practical reason: brightness is better (sapphire isn’t as transparent as glass). There are a few scratches on the case, a band with a gold pin, and (most importantly) it has been flashed. Instead of the demo OS, it has been switched to the standard OS version, making it fully functional. It would go well with my Apple Watch Edition charger, but $1,000 (before taxes) is still a bit much.
