Last week, we got a look at images of a rather unusual Apple charger: a Magic Charger. It appears to be an Apple MagSafe-style charger but in a different form factor than the current model. It somewhat resembles the Apple Watch bedside charger, which Apple no longer sells.
The Twitter account that originally posted the images no longer exists, but another one shared more pictures. So, I retrieved the images from other sites (and corrected the white balance). I have no idea whether this is a prototype of an upcoming charger or one that was abandoned—both possibilities are on the table.
If it’s broken, it still seems to have been possible to connect it to a Mac, which displays the name Magic Charger (if I understood correctly).
