Seen on eBay, a rare and rather unique Mac: the 2020 Developer Transition Kit, equipped with an A12Z.
The seller was asking €3,000 (plus €30 shipping…) for this rather unusual Mac mini. In a way, it makes sense—it’s rare. But on the other hand, not so much—Apple was supposed to take them back, and it was originally offered for around €500 (Apple refunded buyers $500). The Mac was still sealed, but there’s no guarantee it works: it’s a notoriously unreliable machine (many developers had issues) and is stuck on Big Sur, with only minor updates available.
I’d love to have one (again), but definitely not at that price…
