Seen on Twitter, two iPod touch prototypes.
These are a 5th-generation model and a 6th-generation model at different development stages. The 5G is a Proto1 prototype, while the other is a DVT model. You can see the holes used for antenna testing on the 6G model, as well as evolving logos in the test OS. In the photos, the author also shows what appears to be an iPod touch casing or a protective shell with a 30-pin connector. This is related to the fact that the iPod touch 5G was the first Lightning model—evidently, the early prototypes were still using the older connector.
