Seen on Reddit, a rather unique prototype: a Macintosh LC with a ROM that is not the final version.
The marking indicates that it is a ROM 1.0 GM (Golden Master). According to the comments, Apple had actually sent some Macintosh LC PVT models (essentially test models identical to the commercial version) to certain customers, but with an unfinished ROM. The ROM in question is an EEPROM (which can be modified), and it is probably the same version provided with retail Macintosh LCs.
