A Power Macintosh 9700 prototype, a Mac that was never released

Seen on eBay, a Power Mac 9700 prototype, this time without USB.

This rather rare Power Macintosh (it was never released) sold for $2,800. You can see that it has a PowerPC G3 (300 MHz), 64 MB of RAM, and runs Mac OS 8.6. It also features transparent plastic parts, a prototype sticker, six PCI ports, and an unusual external SCSI connector for a Mac.
