Seen on eBay, a PowerBook G3 Pismo DVT. This model has apparently been upgraded with a PowerPC G4 processor.
It’s a Pismo upgraded with a 550 MHz PowerPC G4 (originally a G3). The casing is labeled Projets P8 DVT, and there are a few differences compared to the commercial model. The PowerBook name is missing under the screen, the plastic section below the display near the hinge is glossy, and the trackpad button is bronze-colored, just like this other prototype. The asking price is quite high: $3,600, with $480 shipping fees to France.
