Three Pippin videos showcasing old advertisements and presentations

On YouTube, you can see Pippin consoles in videos filmed at trade shows, with a few interesting details.

In the first video, there’s a Pippin @World (the black American version) with a keyboard that is likely a prototype. It’s not very clear, but it seems to have dual markings on the keys, whereas the commercial version only has Latin characters.

You can faintly see the dual markings

In the second, older video, you can see a Pippin prototype. It’s the version based on a Power Mac 6100, featuring a black mouse instead of a controller.

The last video is the most interesting because it’s an advertisement for the console’s prototype. It’s quite unusual: a sort of marketing concept showing a prototype in action, with English audio but Japanese text. Interestingly, the ad refers to the console as PowerPlayer rather than Pippin.
