On YouTube, you can see Pippin consoles in videos filmed at trade shows, with a few interesting details.
In the first video, there’s a Pippin @World (the black American version) with a keyboard that is likely a prototype. It’s not very clear, but it seems to have dual markings on the keys, whereas the commercial version only has Latin characters.
In the second, older video, you can see a Pippin prototype. It’s the version based on a Power Mac 6100, featuring a black mouse instead of a controller.
The last video is the most interesting because it’s an advertisement for the console’s prototype. It’s quite unusual: a sort of marketing concept showing a prototype in action, with English audio but Japanese text. Interestingly, the ad refers to the console as PowerPlayer rather than Pippin.
