Seen on X, something a bit special: a test firmware from the iPad Pro installed on an iPhone 6.
It’s a beta version of iOS 8.3 designed for an iPad Pro with an Apple A8X chip that never saw release (the first iPad Pro has an A9X). The author explains that this iPad wouldn’t have held up against the iPad Air 2 and was ultimately recycled to create the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. Apparently, this specific version of iOS hasn’t been seen often and only on prototypes.
