A prototype of a MiniDock for PowerBook Duo

Seen on X, a prototype of an Apple accessory: a MiniDock. The PowerBook Duo featured very limited connectivity (just a serial port), and everything relied on the various Docks.

The MiniDock offered a modem port, audio input and output, a PowerBook-format SCSI port (HDI-30), two Mini DIN 8 serial ports, a DA-15 video output with RAM inside the case, an ADB port, an HDI-20 port for an external floppy drive, a power connector, and finally a power button. It all connected via a huge connector that essentially acted as an external PDS.

The unit shown is a DVT model with specific markings, a slightly different color than the final version, and no engraved instructions.
