A prototype iPad nano 7G

Seen on eBay for $240, a prototype iPod nano 7G.

According to the seller, this is a DoE (Design Of Experiments). Notable features include a large metal plate to secure the iPod to a mount, the absence of a battery (and the seller indicates there likely never was one), and the mention of the iPod nano’s codename (Smurf). It does not power on and is presumably empty in terms of internal components.
