A 17-inch « chrome » PowerBook G4 prototype

Seen at Henry’s, a reader who has quite a few Apple prototypes, the first 17-inch PowerBook G4. The machine is quite surprising in one aspect: Apple had apparently intended to release it with a shinier, chrome-like casing than the final model, which is made of brushed aluminum.
